RAM® Mounts Named as CES 2016 Innovation Awards Honoree

The announcement has officially dropped. We finally get to dock this one. They had a protective case around it but now we can transfer the data.

OK, our puns might not be innovative, but our products assuredly are. The Consumer Technology Association has named IntelliSkin® and GDS® Technology™ as a CES 2016 Innovation Awards Honoree. Products entered in this prestigious program are judged by a preeminent panel of independent industrial designers, independent engineers and members of the trade media. The honor recognizes outstanding design and engineering in cutting edge consumer electronics products across 27 product categories.

Needless to say, we’re pretty excited by this recognition. We have a lot of cool stuff in store for the IntelliSkin® cases and GDS® docks and the award from CES is a testament to the work our engineers and manufacturing team has put in to deliver an amazing product. Last year’s winners included Samsung’s Galaxy tablets and even this revolutionary speaker technology.

Products chosen as CES Innovation Honorees reflect innovative design and engineering in some of the most cutting edge tech products and services coming to market. RAM® Mounts patented IntelliSkin® is a molded protective case that integrates a patented charging system enabling the device to charge and transfer data while protecting the tablet from the rigors of repetitive docking and undocking. GDS® is a uniform platform for connecting a variety of portable devices with power and data communication.

Award entries are evaluated on their engineering, aesthetic and design qualities, intended use/function and user value, how the design and innovation of the product directly compares to other products in the marketplace and unique/novel features present.
