ELD Mandate Information
While a registered and ELD-compliant device must be installed by December 2019, remember that commercial motor vehicles must have either an Automatic On-Board Recording Device or an ELD-compliant device installed by December 2017. And though there are pros and cons on each side of the debate, in the end there are several potential benefits of the ELD Mandate including reduced paperwork and improved safety on the roads.
