Mounting to a chrome set of handlebars, the vertical support of a golf cart or the safety rails on a boat poses a unique set of challenges. Obtaining grip without damaging the surface, ability to support torquing forces and keeping a low profile that does not obstruct vision are all challenges that need to be solved.

RAM^®Mounts newest mount, the RAM^®Torque^™Handlebar/Rail Base solves the unique challenges of mounting to round tubing through several new features.

The die cast aluminum base is made from marine-grade aluminum and is powder coated to inhibit corrosion and offer a sleek matte black finish. They utilize RAM^® Mounts proprietary rubber ball to maintain shock and vibration-resistant grip on the mounting arm. And the RAM^® Torque^™ mounts utilize a plastic insert and rubber pad to maintain a solid grip on the rail without damaging the finish.

Make it stick or make it quick

One of the best parts of the RAM^® Torque^™ mount is that it is the perfect combination of “permanent” and movable. If you are looking for a purely quick-release mount, our RAM^® Tough-Claw^™ mounts are ideal.

But in scenarios where you want your mount to stay put for a while but don’t want to drill into your boat or motorcycle then the RAM^® Torque^™ mount is the versatile solution that fits those needs. Using the included Allen bolts, tightly fasten the base to your railing and ensure it is tight enough. If you ever need to move it or reposition, simply back off the tension with an Allen wrench and the mount is mobile.

The RAM^® Mounts Torque Rail basesare available today in three different rail sizes for both B and C-sized mounts as well as several kits that include popular RAM^® X-Grip^® or GDS^® Docks^™.
