New cradle for Magellan Explorist GPS devices

With the new cradle for the Magellan eXplorist line of GPS devices, finding your way to adventure can become easier than ever. Available for preorder now, the new roller cradle secures the GPS device and keeps it latched on to your ATV, bike or vehicle.

We’ve enjoyed a great relationship with Magellan, which manufactures rugged GPS devices that are routinely used in countless outdoor activities and professions. The eXplorist line of GPS devices are rugged, waterproof, and submersible meaning that you can use them anywhere.

This high-strength composite cradle holds the eXplorist GC/110/310/350H devices and utilizes a RAM Mounts ball mount to attach to a variety of mounting bases, including the Tough-Claw and U-bolt.

We had an opportunity to explore with the special geocaching edition that comes with a connection to geocaching.com and is preloaded with some of the world’s most popular geocaches. The compact form factor was super easy to read and held our position regardless of where we went.

Having the ruggedness of a device that is waterproof is a great comfort, especially being here in the Pacific Northwest during an early season elk hunt or finding a deep hidden steelhead pocket.
