Hobie Fishing Worlds is hands-down the most prestigious competition for kayak anglers. 42 of the world’s most skilled anglers are traveling to Amal, Sweden for this three-day tournament, and nine of these anglers are representing the US — Kristine Fisher being one of those nine who’s a longtime friend of RAM®.
Lake Vänern is the largest lake in Sweden, the third largest lake in Europe, and also happens to be home to monster-sized pike, which may be the holy grail of the competition. With two days of practice before the 3-day tournament and opening ceremonies kicking off today, August 9th, we’re excited to follow along and cheer on the top anglers in the world.
